Kalisia Marks joined the Firm as an Associate in April 2016 having worked for several years in St Kitts & Nevis and St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Mrs Marks’ practice is primarily focused on litigation and she has distinguished herself in providing quality service in areas of corporate and commercial law, securities, family and property law. She has experience acting for financial institutions, conglomerates and private individuals in litigation arising out of commercial, insurance, banking and financial disputes. Most recently, the World Bank Group solicited her expertise in family law for their compilation of their 2016 Women, Business and the Law.

Mrs Marks received her education at the University of the West Indies and the Hugh Wooding Law School. Mrs Marks has received training in Mediation from the Caribbean Law Institute Centre, UWI, Cave Hill Campus under the Improved Access to Justice in the Caribbean (IMPACT Justice) Project and Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Academy. She has also received training in Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financial Terrorism.

Mrs Marks is admitted to practice in St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts & Nevis and Antigua & Barbuda Circuits of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. She practices before the Magistrates’ Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
